About Our Directory Signs

Directory signs are not just necessary for airports, malls, and the local hospital. In fact, office buildings, educational facilities, and retailers now also present directories at their venues to enhance the ease with which consumers find their ways around. However, because a directory sign must take into account your current as well as your future needs, the selection of the right system makes a huge difference.

  • Material. Acrylic or metal are durable materials that allow for years of use. We recommend the addition of a clear polycarbonate lens to cover the information and allow for easy cleaning.
  • Slot system. The typical directory for a large office building features a slot system that allows the management company to add and remove sliders with imprinted tenant data. This practice prevents the display of outdated information after a tenant leaves.
  • Fabricated plastic. For a class “A” office building that does not see a lot of movement, fabricated plastic signage is a good choice. It incorporates the branding information of the management company as well as the name of the building. If a tenant does leave, a blank laminate piece attaches to the directory until a new business moves into the space.
