About Our Carved and Sandblasted Signs
Displaying your company’s name for a monument sign, adding door signage, providing directional assistance and meeting ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards is a possibility with carved and sandblasted signs. These products usually consist of high-density urethane (HDU), composite materials or wood.
- Carved signage. In this process, we engrave the material with your information. Metal, acrylic, and HDU are excellent material choices. After finishing the design, we add color to the grooves. A finishing coat prevents the color from fading.
- Sandblasted signage. Sandblasting is the opposite of carving. We mask off the data you want to display. The sandblasting eats away at the background material, which allows the data to display as a three-dimensional image. A colorful finish with a clear coat rounds out the display.
- Appeal. The crisp nature of engraved signage endears it to companies that feature a lot of information on these markers. Sandblasted signage, on the other hand, has a distinctly traditional appeal that makes it a definitive go-to product for retailers and service providers situated in historic districts.
